Mobile apps can also be of help for a SEO strategy. If a mobile app is successful, besides users, it can also draw mentions or reviews on various websites, passing valuable link juice to the company’s website. To see what can be the impact of a successful mobile app, just do a search on Google using the syntax “starbucks mobile app” and you’ll find 195,000 mentions of that exact term. Companies usually host on the website a landing page for the mobile app with a short description or a video and Download buttons to App Stores. Reviewers will generally link to that page.

Truth be told, an app must be part of the big marketing plan, it is just of component in the big picture that needs to be promoted and brought to the spotlight itself.
