Mobile apps create 1000 jobs at Domino’s

Do you need more proof that mobile has a tremendous impact on businesses across the globe?

Domino’s Pizza Enterprises, Australia’s biggest pizza company just announced that they have 1000 new jobs to fill nationwide, so it can satisfy a recent technology-led surge in demand for pizza. Don Meij, chief executive at Domino’s announced that these hires are generated by the mobile apps for phones and tablets. It’s easier now for consumers to order pizza through Domino’s mobile apps so demand has increased a lot.

Domino’s has 482 Australian stores and needs extra pizza makers, delivery drivers and part-time managers, some stores having as many as 10 jobs available.
