In mid December Instagram dropped support for Twitter Cards, meaning when someone shares a photo from Instagram to Twitter, people no longer see the photo on Twitter, but a link that drives traffic back to Instagram. This smart move has an impressive impact on Instagram, engagement with the brands on Instagram grew by 35% and brad follower count by 41% in the past 3 months.
